Our Story
Canadian English Goldendoodles was a small, family-run Canadian breeder of Goldendoodle and Poodle puppies. We have a large family, and everyone was active in training and socializing our dogs. We homeschooled our children, and having the dogs as part of our family was important to us — our dogs lived in the house with us, came on vacations and camping trips with us, and whelped in our home, with the puppies quickly becoming part of our daily routine.
We’ve Retired From Breeding
We have retired from breeding and are no longer producing litters or placing puppies. This site stays online as a resource: everything we learned over the years about raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies — natural (BARF) diet, holistic care, early socialization, and choosing the right puppy for your family — is still here for anyone who wants it, whether you brought home one of our puppies or have a dog of your own.
The Reason for It All
The primary reason behind everything we did was to allow God’s glory to be shown.
Temperament & Family
As temperament was the most important quality we bred for, it was extremely important that every puppy leaving our home was safe around children. We strongly believe that Goldendoodles are one of the best breeds for anyone with children, grandchildren, or kids in their neighborhood. Going the extra step to ensure a gentle, easy-to-train temperament made it easy to guarantee a wonderful fit for the right family.
The Bigger Picture
While we were breeding, we also raised funds for a street children’s ministry in Asia through GFA (mygfa.org) — something we cared about alongside the dogs, and still do.
