1. What is the difference between an F1 and F1b Goldendoodle?
An F1 is a cross between a purebred Golden Retriever and a purebred Poodle. An F1b is a cross between an F1 goldendoodle and a purebred Poodle. (Also known as a ‘backcross’) For more information go to our Goldendoodle Page.
2. We have decided that our family is ready for a dog. What should we do next?
Please, PLEASE check your local shelter first and if at all possible, give a dog a home who already needs one. Check out our Links page for a place to start looking at shelters.
3. There are no dogs suitable for us from the shelter. We have decided on a Goldendoodle from Canadian English Golden Doodles. What do we do next?
First, be excited! Adopting one of our puppies into your home will be a wonderful experience as you get to know each other. Even the wait period of watching your puppy grow for the first eight weeks is a lot of fun. - Anticipation never disappoints!
Next, go to the Adoption Process page, fill in the registration form there. Then, send in a $50 CAD non-refundable deposit to put your place in line by following the links. Once you have sent in your deposit, fill in the information form there. Note: The questions asked on the form though not mandatory at this time, will be required once the puppies are born in order to best match your family with your puppy.
4. Who picks the golden doodle puppy we will take home?
After discussing with you and getting to know your needs and family dynamics, as well as observing and getting to know the puppies intimately, we will choose the puppy your family will take home. All too often, the traits that someone is attracted to in a puppy are the same traits that will drive them crazy in about two months. It is far more important to us that you are 100% satisfied with the newest member of your family than it is if you adopt a boy or a girl, or a cream colored instead of a black puppy. We will spend a lot of time working with you to ensure you love your new puppy.
5. How much do your puppies cost?
Our puppies are $2,400.00 CAD including GST for Teddy Bear Goldendoodles as well as our Parti Poodles. The price is the same for both F1 and F1b puppies.
You will also receive:
- Health record including all shots and worming information
- Transition toy with litter's scent
- Information packet
- 3 year written health guarantee against congenital defects
- full support from us for the lifetime of your puppy

Yes we do. If you are unable to pick up your puppy in person, we offer a standard delivery service within Southern Alberta of $100 to bring your puppy to you. If your puppy requires to be delivered by air, we charge $450 CAD within North America to cover all documentation, crate, tickets, and customs requirements. (Note: Occasionally there are airport requirements when you pick up your puppy that we are unable to prepay, and sometimes to foresee. We will try to do our best to cover all costs, and to inform you ahead of time of any fees we are unable to cover. However, we cannot guarantee there will not be additional handling fees imposed by your individual airport.) If your puppy is to be shipped internationally, we will work with you to determine the best way to get your puppy home to you. We cannot guarantee the rate internationally at this time.
